How to Open a 3DM File

Jul 14, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to open a 3DM file for your CAD projects. So, let's get started!

Step 1: The easiest way to open a 3DM file is by using Rhino software. If you don't have Rhino installed, you can download a free trial version from their official website.

Step 2: Once you have Rhino installed, simply open the software and go to 'File' > 'Open' and select your 3DM file from your computer.

Step 3: If you don't have Rhino and don't want to install it, you can also use Autodesk Fusion 360 to open 3DM files. Simply go to 'File' > 'Open' and choose the 3DM file you want to view.

Step 4: Another option is to use AutoCAD to open 3DM files. Just open AutoCAD and go to 'File' > 'Open' and select your 3DM file.

Step 5: If you just need to view the 3DM file and don't want to install any new software, you can also use online 3D file viewers like Online 3D Viewer or 3D-Tool Free Viewer.

And that's it! Now you know how to easily open a 3DM file for your CAD design projects. Whether you use Rhino, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or online viewers, opening a 3DM file is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Happy designing!
