How to Import SKP to Blender

Aug 01, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to import SKP files to Blender for all your 3D modeling needs. So, let's get started! First, make sure you have both SketchUp and Blender installed on your computer. Now, open up SketchUp and locate the SKP file you want to import. Next, go to 'File' and then 'Export' and choose the '3D Model' option. Save the file in a location where you can easily access it. Now, open up Blender and go to 'File' and then 'Import' and select the 'Collada (DAE)' format. Navigate to the location where you saved the DAE file from SketchUp and select it to import into Blender. Once the import is complete, you'll see your SKP file displayed in the Blender workspace. You can now edit, modify, and manipulate the 3D model as needed. And that's it! You've successfully imported your SKP file into Blender. Now you can continue working on your 3D project with all the powerful tools and features Blender has to offer. I hope this tutorial was helpful for you.
