How to Reset View in Blender

Aug 19, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to reset the view in Blender. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned 3D artist, knowing how to reset your view can save you a lot of time and frustration. So let's dive in! The first thing you need to do is make sure you're in 'Object Mode' by pressing 'Tab' if you're in 'Edit Mode'. Next, simply press 'Number Pad 0' to switch to the camera view. Once you're in the camera view, press 'Number Pad .' (period) to frame the selected object in the center of the view. If you want to reset the view completely, press 'Alt + Home' and it will reset the view to the default position. This is super handy when you've been navigating around your scene and need to quickly get back to a standard view. Another quick tip is to use 'Shift + C' to center the 3D cursor and view all objects. This can come in handy when you've been working on a specific area of your scene and want to get a full view of everything. And there you have it! With these simple shortcuts, you can easily reset the view in Blender and streamline your 3D modeling workflow. I hope you found this tutorial helpful, and if you did, be sure to give it a like and share it with your fellow Blender enthusiasts. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more Blender tutorials coming your way!
