How to Disable Windows 3D View

Sep 26, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to disable the 3D view feature in Windows. It can be a little distracting and unnecessary, so let's get rid of it! First, go to your desktop and right-click on the empty space. Then, select 'Personalize' from the dropdown menu. In the new window, click on 'Themes' in the left-hand menu. Now, click on 'Desktop icon settings' on the right side of the window. A new window will pop up, and here you'll want to uncheck the box that says 'Allow themes to change desktop icons.' This will disable the 3D view effect on your desktop icons. Next, let's disable the 3D flip feature. Right-click on the desktop again and select 'Personalize.' This time, click on 'Ease of Access Center' at the bottom of the window. Now, click on 'Make the computer easier to see' and look for the option that says 'Turn off all unnecessary animations (when possible).' Check the box next to it and click 'Apply.' That's it! You've successfully disabled the 3D view feature in Windows. Enjoy a smoother and cleaner desktop experience. Don't forget to like and follow for more computer tips and tricks!
