How to View in 3D in Revit

Sep 27, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to easily view your designs in 3D in Revit. Whether you're new to Revit or just need a quick refresher, I've got you covered. Let's get started!

Step 1: Open your Revit project and navigate to the view you want to see in 3D.

Step 2: In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, you'll see a button that looks like a cube with arrows around it. This is the '3D View' button. Click on it to switch to the 3D view.

Step 3: Once you're in the 3D view, you can use the mouse to orbit around your design and see it from different angles. You can also use the navigation tools in the toolbar to zoom in and out, pan, and rotate the view.

And that's it! You're now able to easily view your designs in 3D in Revit. Whether you're working on architecture, interior design, or any other type of modeling, being able to see your designs in 3D is essential for a better understanding and visualization of your project. I hope this quick tutorial was helpful for you. Happy designing!
