So you've downloaded some awesome 3D OBJ files and you're excited to use them in your Clip Studio artwork. Here's a quick tutorial on how to import those 3D models into Clip Studio.

Step 1: Open Clip Studio

First, open up your Clip Studio software and make sure you're in the workspace where you want to import the 3D model.

Step 2: Choose 'File' > 'Import' > '3D Data'

Next, go to the 'File' menu at the top of the screen. From there, select 'Import' and then '3D Data' from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Locate the Downloaded 3D OBJ File

A file explorer window will pop up, allowing you to navigate to the location on your computer where you've saved the downloaded 3D OBJ file. Once you've found it, click 'Open' to load the 3D model into Clip Studio.

Step 4: Position and Scale the 3D Model

The 3D OBJ file will now appear in your Clip Studio workspace. You can click and drag to change its position, and use the corner handles to scale it to the size you want. You can also rotate the model by clicking and dragging outside of the bounding box.

Step 5: Adjust Material and Lighting (Optional)

If desired, you can further customize the 3D model's appearance by adjusting its material properties and lighting effects. Clip Studio offers a range of tools for fine-tuning the look of your 3D models to seamlessly integrate them into your artwork.

Step 6: Start Illustrating with 3D Reference

With your downloaded 3D OBJ file successfully imported into Clip Studio, you can now start using it as a reference for your illustrations and designs. Whether you're drawing characters, environments, or objects, having a 3D model to work from can be a valuable resource for achieving accuracy and depth in your artwork.
