Oct 02, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to port OBJ to model SFM in just a few easy steps! If you're a fan of 3D animation, you'll love being able to bring your OBJ models into SFM for some awesome projects. Let's get started!

Step 1: Open SFM and create a new session.

Step 2: Import your OBJ model into SFM by going to 'File' > 'Import' > 'Import Sequence' and locating your OBJ file.

Step 3: Once your OBJ model is imported, you may need to adjust the scale, position, and rotation to fit your scene.

Step 4: Now, it's time to create a new SFM model from your imported OBJ. Right-click on the model in the Animation Set Editor and select 'Create Animation Set for New Model'.

Step 5: Give your new model a name and click 'Create'.

Step 6: You can now use the Manipulate Mode tool to further adjust your model's position and orientation within the scene.

Step 7: Lastly, you can animate your new model as you would with any other SFM model!

And that's it! You've successfully ported your OBJ model to SFM. Now you can bring your 3D creations to life in SFM and create some amazing animations. Have fun experimenting and creating in SFM, and don't forget to share your awesome projects with the community. Happy porting!
