Oct 02, 2024

Do you want to prevent accidental changes to your carefully set up 3D view in Revit? Here's how you can lock it in just a few simple steps. First, open the desired 3D view in Revit. Then, navigate to the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen and find the 'Visual Style' button. Click on it and choose the visual style that you prefer for your 3D view. Once you have set the visual style, right-click on the view cube in the upper right corner of the screen. You will see an option to 'Lock View'. Click on this option to lock your 3D view, preventing any unintentional changes to the visual style or orientation. Now, you can navigate through your 3D view with peace of mind, knowing that your preferred settings are securely locked in place.
