How to View in 3D in AutoCAD

Oct 02, 2024

Hey there CAD enthusiasts! Want to take your designs to the next level by viewing them in 3D? Here's a quick guide on how to do just that in AutoCAD. First, make sure you're in the 3D modeling workspace. Click on the 'View' tab on the ribbon, and then select '3D View' from the dropdown menu. Next, choose the perspective from which you'd like to view your model. You can do this by selecting 'SW Isometric', 'SE Isometric', 'NE Isometric', or 'NW Isometric' from the Viewpoint cube in the navigation bar. You can also use the 'Orbit' tool to freely rotate and view your design from any angle. Lastly, use the 'Visual Styles' dropdown to apply different styles such as 'Realistic', 'Shaded', or 'Wireframe' to better visualize your 3D model. And voila! You can now view your design in all its 3D glory. Give it a try and let your designs come to life with 3D viewing in AutoCAD! #AutoCAD #3Dviewing #CADdesign
