How to Change a 3D View in AutoCAD

Oct 08, 2024

Are you struggling to get the right perspective in AutoCAD when working on 3D models? Here's how you can easily change the 3D view to better visualize your designs. First, make sure you're in the 3D modeling workspace. Then, simply use the "ViewCube" tool located in the top right corner of the screen. You can click and drag the cube to rotate your view, or click on a specific face to jump to that view directly. You can also use the "Orbit" command by typing "Orbit" into the command line, and then click and drag to change your view. Additionally, you can use the "View" tab in the ribbon to access more specific view options such as top, bottom, front, back, left, and right views. By mastering these basic techniques, you'll be able to navigate 3D models in AutoCAD with ease.
