Oct 09, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to export your amazing Houdini 3D designs as OBJ files! This is super easy and can really help you share your creations with others. So let's get started.

Step 1: Once you're happy with your 3D design in Houdini, make sure all the components are ready for export. You can use the 'Merge' node to combine multiple components into one if needed.

Step 2: Select the components you want to export. You can use the 'Export' node to specify which components you want to export. Just connect the components to the 'Export' node and set it up.

Step 3: Now, go to the 'File' menu and select 'Export'. Choose 'OBJ' as the file type and name your file. Make sure to select the correct directory for the export.

Step 4: In the OBJ export settings, make sure to adjust the options according to your needs. You can specify whether you want to export the UVs, normals, materials, and other attributes.

Step 5: Once everything is set, click 'Accept' to start the export process. Houdini will then save your 3D design as an OBJ file in the specified directory.

Step 6: Now you have successfully exported your Houdini 3D design as an OBJ file! You can now use it in other 3D software or share it with others for viewing.

That's it! You've accomplished exporting your Houdini 3D designs as OBJ files. I hope this tutorial was helpful for you. Don't forget to share your creations with the world and keep creating amazing 3D designs! Thank you for watching. #Houdini #3Ddesign #OBJexport #Houdinitutorial
