How to Export OBJ from Zbrush

Oct 09, 2024

Hey there, 3D artists! Today, I'm going to show you how to export OBJ files from Zbrush, so you can use your amazing 3D models in other software. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Once your model is ready, go to the Tool palette and select the Subtool you want to export.

Step 2: Click on the 'Export' button in the Tool palette.

Step 3: Choose 'OBJ' as the file type and select the location where you want to save the file.

Step 4: Name your file and click 'Save'.

Step 5: A dialog box will appear with the export settings. Make sure to adjust the settings according to your needs. You can adjust the scale, flip the axes, and more.

Step 6: Click 'OK' and your OBJ file will be saved in the chosen location.

That's it! Now you can easily import your 3D model into other software for texturing, rendering, or animation. It's a simple process, but it can make a huge difference in your workflow.

I hope this quick tutorial was helpful. Don't forget to like and share if you found it useful. Happy 3D modeling!
