Hey there, Rhino enthusiasts! Today, I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to attach a material file to an OBJ object in Rhino. Let's get started!
Step 1: Open your Rhino project and make sure you have the OBJ file you want to attach the material to.
Step 2: In the Rhino interface, go to the 'Render' tab and click on 'Materials' to open the Materials panel.
Step 3: Once the Materials panel is open, click on the 'Create New Material' button to create a new material for your OBJ object.
Step 4: After creating the new material, click on the 'Browse' button to locate the material file you want to attach to the OBJ object. Select the material file and click 'Open' to apply it to the material.
Step 5: Now that you have attached the material file to the newly created material, go back to the Materials panel and find the material you just created.
Step 6: Drag and drop the material onto the OBJ object in the Rhino viewport to apply the material to the object.
And that's it! You have successfully attached a material file to your OBJ object in Rhino. Now you can render your project with the applied material and see the beautiful results.
