Oct 14, 2024

Are you looking to import more than one .obj file into Blender for your 3D modeling project? In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the steps to easily achieve this.

1. Organize Your .obj Files

Before you start importing multiple .obj files into Blender, make sure that you have all the .obj files you need in a single folder. This will make the import process much smoother and more organized.

2. Open Blender

Launch Blender on your computer and make sure you are in the default layout with the 3D Viewport open.

3. Navigate to File > Import > Wavefront (.obj)

Click on 'File' in the top-left corner of the Blender interface, then select 'Import' and choose 'Wavefront (.obj)' from the dropdown menu.

4. Select Multiple .obj Files

Navigate to the folder where your .obj files are located and use the shift or control key to select multiple .obj files that you want to import into Blender. Once you have selected all the files, click 'Import OBJ' to proceed.

5. Adjust Import Settings

After clicking 'Import OBJ', a new window will appear with import settings. Here, you can adjust the scale, rotation, and other import options for the .obj files. Make any necessary changes and then click 'Import' to finalize the process.

6. Arrange the Imported Objects

Once the import is complete, you will see all the imported .obj files in the 3D Viewport. You can now arrange, position, and modify the imported objects as needed for your 3D modeling project.

7. Save Your Project

After importing and arranging the .obj files, be sure to save your Blender project to keep all the changes. Navigate to File > Save or Save As to save your project file.

That's it! You've successfully imported multiple .obj files into Blender for your 3D modeling project. With this simple process, you can easily incorporate multiple 3D objects into your designs and create stunning visual scenes.
