Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm going to show you a super quick and easy way to save an object in Photoshop. Whether you're a graphic designer or just someone who loves photo editing, this trick will definitely come in handy. Let's get started!
Step 1: Open your image in Photoshop and make sure the object you want to save is isolated from the background.
Step 2: Select the Pen Tool from the toolbar on the left. This tool allows you to create a precise selection around the object.
Step 3: Carefully trace around the object with the Pen Tool, creating a path that follows its shape. Once you've completed the path, right-click and select 'Make Selection.'
Step 4: In the 'Make Selection' window, make sure the 'Feather Radius' is set to 0 pixels and click 'OK.'
Step 5: With the object now selected, press 'Ctrl + J' on your keyboard to create a new layer with just the object.
Step 6: Hide the original background layer by clicking the eye icon next to it in the Layers panel. This will make the background transparent, leaving only your object.
Step 7: Now, go to 'File' and select 'Save As.' Choose a file format that supports transparent backgrounds, such as PNG.
Step 8: Name your file and select a location to save it. Make sure the 'Transparency' option is checked and click 'Save.'
And that's it! You've successfully saved your object with a transparent background in Photoshop. This method is perfect for creating cutouts, removing backgrounds, and more.
