How to Access 3D View in Revit

Oct 14, 2024

If you're using Revit for architectural design, accessing the 3D view is a key aspect of visualizing your building model. To do so, simply navigate to the 'View' tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. From there, select the '3D View' option to enter the 3D mode. You can also use the keyboard shortcut 'VG' to toggle between the default 2D view and 3D view. Once in the 3D view, you can manipulate the perspective, zoom in and out, and rotate the model to get a comprehensive understanding of your design. This feature is particularly useful for client presentations, as it provides a more immersive and realistic representation of the building. By mastering the 3D view in Revit, you can enhance your design process and effectively communicate your ideas to stakeholders.
