How to Install OBJ on Roblox

Oct 20, 2024

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to install OBJ on Roblox and import custom 3D models to your games. It's super easy, so let's get started! First, you'll need to have the OBJ file of the 3D model you want to import. Once you have the OBJ file ready, open Roblox Studio and create a new place. Click on the 'View' tab and make sure the 'Explorer' and 'Properties' windows are open. Next, locate the 'Model' tab in the 'Explorer' window and right-click on it. Select 'Add Object' and then choose 'MeshPart'. Now, go to the 'Properties' window and find the 'MeshID' property. Click on the folder icon next to it and select 'Import Model'. Choose the OBJ file from your computer and click 'Open' to import it to Roblox. You can adjust the scale and position of the imported 3D model using the 'Properties' window. Once you're happy with the placement, you can test your game to see the imported OBJ in action. And that's it! You've successfully installed OBJ on Roblox and added a custom 3D model to your game. Now you can get creative and enhance your games with unique 3D assets. Have fun creating and incorporating custom OBJ files into your Roblox games! I hope this tutorial was helpful.
