How to Get 3D View on Google Maps

Oct 21, 2024

Hey, everyone! Have you ever wanted to see a 3D view of your favorite places on Google Maps? Well, you're in luck because I'm about to show you how to do it! First, open the Google Maps app on your smartphone or go to the Google Maps website on your desktop. Once you've got it open, here's how to get the 3D view: 1. Search for a location: Type in the location you want to explore in the search bar at the top of the screen. It could be anywhere in the world! 2. Enable satellite view: In the bottom left corner of the screen, you'll see a button that looks like layers of paper. Tap on it and select 'Satellite' view. This will switch the map to a satellite view, showing you the actual terrain and buildings in 3D. 3. Explore in 3D: Now that you're in satellite view, you can pinch and zoom on the map to explore the location in 3D. Swipe your finger up and down to change the angle and get a better view of the buildings and landscape. You can also use your mouse or keyboard shortcuts to navigate in 3D on the desktop version. 4. Check out Street View: If you want to get an even closer look at the location, tap on the yellow person icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. This will take you to Street View, where you can drag the yellow person to any blue-lined street on the map and explore the area as if you were walking there. And that's it! You've now unlocked the power of 3D view on Google Maps. Whether you're planning a trip, exploring a new city, or just curious about a particular location, 3D view can give you a whole new perspective. So go ahead and give it a try! Happy exploring! #GoogleMaps #3Dview #mapsapp #satelliteview #StreetView
